Statto: Amby Fogarty gets 10th Cap With this win Ireland qualify for the 1/4 finals of the European Championships.
Not for the first time Ireland had problems with pitch invasions with the game close to being abandoned. The half time break lasted 20 minutes as the referee refused to restart the gamer until the pitch was cleared.
The official attendance was 40,000 but many got in free.
Ireland played most of the first half with 10 men as Mick Mc Garth was carried off after a kick in the head after 16 minutes.
