Jeremiah "Miah" Dennehy is an Irish former professional footballer.
Born in Cork on 29th March 1950, he was a winger and he picked up a league championship medal with Cork Hibernians in 1971 and made history the following year by scoring a first ever hat trick in an FAI Cup decider as Hibs outclassed Waterford F.C.
He was then transferred to Nottingham Forest under manager Dave Mackay in January 1973 for £20,000 and then to Walsall, where he spent three years in the mid-1970s. He was capped 11 times (scoring 2 goals) for the Republic of Ireland national football team in all between 1972 and 1977.
Following a spell at Bristol Rovers from 1978 to 1980, Miah returned to the League of Ireland scene lining out for a succession of clubs including Thurles Town and Galway United.
